Well here's one off the bucket list. I took a series of long exposure shots outside the front door for my first Aurora mini time-lapse.

It's the first aurora I've ever seen!

Couldn't see a great deal with the naked eye, I had to lift out the lights with post editing as the camera sensor saw so much more than me!

Fujifilm X-T2 with an XF 18-135mm

Used 25 sec shutter speed, probably should have been 23 as there is a slight blurring on the stars. Used the self-timer at 2secs as I didn't have a remote then. Used the interval timer for a series. Darktable for post editing. Glued them into a GIF with Google Photos help.
